LIP Entertainment is a concert promotion company dedicated to presenting music influenced by the Motherland to Toronto’s multicultural population.   LIP (Lance Ingleton Promotions) has an established template of providing cutting edge talent to its audiences and demonstrates an appreciation of world music awareness that has seen it commission talents as diverse as Gilberto Gil from Brazil, Thomas Mapfumo from Zimbabwe, Youssou N’Dour from Senegal and Arrow from Montserrat.  A hallmark of the LIP style is its unique tradition of mixing musical acts:  having reggae bands open for blues artists; soca fronting an R&B package and many other so-called unconventional concert rosters. 

One of LIP's proudest moments was when they were asked to coordinate the entertainment for "President" Nelson Mandela and Mrs. Mandela's Queen's Park State Visit to Toronto.
 
LIP is well known for staging signature concerts of world renowned artists like Jimmy Cliff, Ziggy Marley, B.B. King, Djavan and Milton Nascimento, Billy Ocean and Los Van Van; Lucky Dube and Alpha Blondy, Hugh Masekela, Fela Kuti, Baaba Maal, and the Neville Brothers, Peabo Bryson, Bobby “Blue” Bland, Wycliffe Jean, Ashford and Simpson, The Temptations, A Tribe Called Quest, Maxi Priest, Third World, Steel Pulse,  Jungle Brothers and Chaka Khan just to name a few.
